Dendrobium 'Thanaid Jacky'
Den. Thanaid Jacky Stripe belongs to the Dendrobium Phalaenopsis or the 'Hard cane' group of dendrobiums.
They produce long spikes of charming white flowers with pink veins which merge at the centre.
Dendrobium phalaenopsis are warm growing orchids which could be grown both indoor and outdoor. They are much liked by orchid growers because they produce long spikes with 10-25 flowers which last up to 1-3 months on the plant.
They strongly resemble phalaenopsis orchids. The cane becomes thick with age and are called 'hard cane'. The leaves are bright green and ovate shaped.
They require moderate to good light and prefer warm to intermediate temperatures. They need to be watered thoroughly and maintain moderate moisture or humidity.
